Data we process
KOMA SCANS processes the account information provided by Discord or email, reading progress, favorites, ratings and security logs needed to operate the service.
Public reading does not require an account. If you accept advertising, Adsterra may receive technical identifiers and usage information directly from your browser to deliver and measure advertisements.
Why we process it
Account and reading data are used to authenticate users, synchronize their library, secure editor access and operate the publishing platform. Operational logs are used to prevent abuse and diagnose failures.
Storage and retention
Account data is stored in the operator’s PostgreSQL database. Published media is stored on Cloudflare R2. Data is retained only while an account is active or as required to resolve security, contractual or legal obligations.
Your choices
Users may request access, correction, export or deletion of their personal data by contacting legal@example.com. Deleting an account removes its library, progress and ratings after any mandatory retention period. Advertising consent can be changed from the footer without deleting an account.
